MIDDLE ISLAND SANCTUARY - DOG FRIENDLY & WITH ELEVATOR
Cape Creek is a tranquil retreat with breathtaking views of the Bald Head Creek and a three-stop elevator to help you get everything settled. Located in Middle Island, you will feel like this is your own private retreat — far away from the crowds — with ample indoor and outdoor living space. Thoughtfully decorated, this house truly feels like a home. The kitchen is large enough to accommodate many cooks. Dine indoors or outdoors on the screened porch. A large deck facing the marsh is the perfect spot at the end of the day to watch the sunset.
When you enter the property, you'll find a sitting room, bathroom and bunkroom on your left. Bunkroom is accessible only through sitting room and bathroom. On the second floor, is where the main action occurs - kitchen, living space, master suite and queen guest with en suite and access to outdoor grill/deck area. The third floor features two more bathrooms with en suites.
Cape Creek guests will have access to the Middle Island dock on Cape Creek Road for fishing and kayaking (only), as well as the private Middle Island beach access.
FOUR NIGHT MINIMUM IN THE OFF SEASON.
Cape Creek rents Sunday to Sunday in the summer. Enter a Sunday date in the availability box to the right to get a rate in the summer.
The BHI Club is optional, based on a first-come, first-served basis. For information on BHI club access and rates, contact the club directly at bhiclub.net.
The Shoal's Club is not an option.
We do not inventory items in the garage and are unable to provide information about bikes, boogie boards, etc.
For guest safety and property protection, cameras may be in place. No cameras are placed inside, or with any view of the interior of the property. Guest privacy is paramount, cameras are installed primarily as a theft deterrent and to protect the property.
Items pictured in rental home photography may or may not be available for rental guest use, I.E. fireplaces, water toys etc. If you have a specific question, please ask.
We had a wonderful time in Cape Creek rental as usual. We have been here numerous times with all of our big kids and our grandkids. We always enjoy being able to have dinner together in this house. The kitchen is large enough to cook for a crowd and plenty of indoor/outdoor eating space. It felt like "coming home" when we walked in.
Our growing extended family wanted a home that was in a different location on Bald Head Island this year so we chose this Middle Island home. When we arrived, we immediately were captivated by the views of the marsh, the maritime forest and the spacious home! The home provided a perfect escape from life on the mainland!
WOW! The sunsets and sunrises were amazing on that beautiful deck.

Our family had a beautiful and restful two week stay in the 17 Cape Creek Road home. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals. The views of the marsh are stunning and there is always a breeze so bugs are not an issue.

Gorgeous marsh views from all around the home! It was a wonderful place for our family to reconnect! It had a well-equipped kitchen and spacious living areas to spread out 🙂 The deck provided beautiful and relaxing outdoor space to lounge and hangout. We would definitely rent this home again!
My family and I had the best time at this house. The location was perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. We were close to the beach and kayaking on the creek. The home itself had a fantastic kitchen- very well equipped. Our family were really able to spread out in the space and appreciate the beauty of the environment. We saw the most beautiful sunset over the creek. We had amazing service from the management from beginning to end of our stay!
Best place to go for a true family vacation. Great house with fabulous views and privacy. Tiffany is without a doubt the best and has accommodated my family for over 15 years!
